This 2 day Fire Safety Management course is designed for those with responsibility for fire safety management within the workplace, providing them with the knowledge to formulate and monitor a fire safety system. Practical use of live fire demonstrations will allow the instructor to demonstrate most fire sources including many specific fire hazards in the workplace and allows participants to use fire extinguishers in a safe clean controlled environment.
On completion course participants will have an understanding of
- The principles of prevention, elimination or control of fire hazards and the actions to take in the event of fire including fire equipment handling and assisting the fire brigade.
- Legal responsibilities under current legislation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a Fire Safety Management System, evacuation procedures, Fire Safety Managers responsibilities and maintenance of all required records
Certification
All successful candidates will be issued with a certificate of attendance by Aldatus. Certification is valid for 3 years from date of issue, thereafter subject to re-certification.
